Big Bad Gus And The Family Blog

Last week we played with play doh for the very first time!  We squished and mashed and made shapes and rolling pinned for a long while.  Oh yeah, and we (by we I mean Gus) tried to eat a little, too.  Mommy promptly ended the play doh session.   We will try again soon. 

Last Friday we headed up to RR to see an Express game.  As expected, Gus soaked up every minute!   We got him yelling ‘baseball players!’ and ‘go express!’   He even had his glove if a ball came our way.  :) 

A few nights a week, Gus and daddy turn on Baseball and hang out on the couch together!  Here are a few pics.

For Father’s Day I made Char a cake and cupcakes.  Banana Butterfinger cake is, you guessed it, a cake filled with bananas and butterfinger!   MMM.  I think Charlie liked it, when he ate a bite he said “all cake should be this cake”.  :)  :)

I have to say Congrats to our friends Andy and Eilish on their newest addition!  Garnet Maslen was born Sunday evening at 6:30pm.  I saw her yesterday and she is VERY VERY VERY cute!  :)  I’ll post a pic as soon as I have one. 

Gus’s newest thing is to eat only little bits throughout the day and then EAT MORE THAN I HAVE EVER SEEN at night.   This morning he ate 1/2 an egg, 1/2 a tortilla and 1/2 strip of bacon.  He also had a small smoothie with a tiny banana, raspberries, spinach, milk and brewers yeast.    He [...]

Mac and Eilish came over last week.  The boys ran around all day and then finally took a snack break.  I snapped a few pics of them in the tower eating oranges!  MMM!  You can also see Gus’s new haircut.  Love it!
