Big Bad Gus And The Family Blog

I have wanted to buy and try some Goji berries for a while.  They are hard to find, but today I got lucky and they had some at HEB.   The reports were right…they are tart/tangy and a little nutty.    Mmmm. 

On Friday I baked my first loaf of bread.  I got a secondhand bread machine a while back (thanks to Grandma Koehn!) and finally downloaded the manual.  I started small with a boxed whole grain mix.   I know, I know…..a boxed mix!   So, the next round will be the real deal…no box!  Wish me luck.  [...]

Last week Mac, Eilish and Garnet came over.  Gus had his first ever popsicle!!!  He and Mac enjoyed playing outside and yes, they both LOVED the popsicle!!   I have also snuck in a cute pic of baby Garnet!!  :) 

They happen so rarely, I must post!! :)   This one is from Daddy’s Masonic installation last weekend. 

Conner came over to play yesterday!  They had lots of fun playing trains and cars and more trains!  They had a great time together and there was only a tiny bit of crying/bickering!!!  :)
